Alternate Backup...

• This is where a fail safe copy of Text Tracker Suite is updated to be as current as the working folder and should also be done on a daily basis
• The fail safe copy or TTSafe is a mirror image of the working folder and can be updated regularly throughout the day.  Unlike the the Backup option, the alternate backup does not need exclusive use of the database (as it does not perform the housekeeping tasks)
• TTSafe normally exists on the local hard drive of the computer used for TextTracker Circulation - D:\TTSafe in EQ schools... perhaps C:\TTSafe in other schools
• It is a fail safe copy of Text Tracker Suite that can be used if it is up-to-date and your network is temporarily down

*** Don't forget to do External Backups if you ever use the TTSafe folder and that you need to Restore the TTSafe data back into the server TextTracker when you are ready to go again on the network.
